My profile

I was born in a bilingual family (Spanish and English) and I studied both Classics and English.

I began teaching in a school when I was 19. The school was called Up! Language school. There I taught children, teenagers and adults. A couple of years later I started working in another school, Helen Doron. This school has its own methodology so I had to undergo a lot of trainings and seminars. Thanks to this methodology I could teach from babies (3 month olds) to teenagers (up to 18 year olds) in a natural way. The whole experience was very enriching, because I could learn a lot about alternative teaching methodologies, and very rewarding, because I could see how my students were able to produce English without efforts.

After some years working in Helen Doron, I decided to change directions: I have started an MA in Advanced English Studies and I combine it with two other jobs: teaching some classes at UAB and some other at Start Up, centre d'estudis.

As you can see, English (languages) and teaching are my passion, so I'm really looking forward to expanding my experience and my knowledge.
